Things to do in Saskatoon in July 2016

Summer is here and the arts are in full swing in Saskatoon. My favorite events not to be missed include the JazzFest, Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan, and Taste of Saskatchewan. There’s always something happening near the river in Saskatoon.

Look for white church, then turn north 0.4 km. on Valley View Road Time: 9am to 9pm The Hub City Radio Control Club (HCRCC) of Saskatoon’s grand opening of their new airfield will be spectacular! Watch demonstrations of radio-controlled plants, helicopters, drones and rockets – and talk to the club members who build these crafts and fly them. Want to try your hand at radio-controlled flying? Come join in on an evening of film and information about Aidez nous a Aider- a charity based in Morocco. We will be watching the film Pay it Forward then afterwards learn about the project Aidez nous a Aider. The project is about creating job opportunities for people living in marginalized situations to help people. We will also be presenting a power point presentation with photographs from the project followed by a panel discussion. Free admission but if you would like to make a donation we are always happy!
