Massey Place

The Massey Place community of 3,381 people was originally erected for veterans outside of the city of Saskatoon. Most of this neighbourhood was constructed after WWII as part of the Veterans’ Land Act Settlement. It became part of the city of Saskatoon in 1957. The Confederation Suburban Centre is the closest large retail centre. Montgomery has the largest annual Garage Sale in Saskatoon and this community hosts its very own Remembrance Day ceremony of which there is always overwhelming community support given its beginnings. Due to its orientation to the rest of the city the overall feeling of this region is of a small town.

Below is statistical information on the Massey Place area. This information was gathered by the 2006 Federal Census.
