The Adelaide and Churchill area was built between 1945 and 1960 and has a population of approximately 3500 residents. In 1957 the first shopping mall was constructed in Saskatoon in this area, the Churchill Shopping Centre.

Boundaries

Adelaide/Churchill is bounded to the north by Taylor Street and on the south by Circle Drive. Cumberland Avenue is to the east, and Clarence Avenue is on the west. Between Taylor and Cascade Streets, the streets are laid out in grid fashion. South of Cascade Street, the roads are laid in a court and crescent system.
