Pleasant Hill
Despite its name Pleasant Hill, this area is known to be a jagged-edged neighbourhood in Saskatoon’s west side and is among the poorest and crime-ridden areas in Urban Canada, however the government is taking steps to clean up the area and make it a safer and more desirable place to reside. The population here is 4715 and the average household income is around $25,000. Many of the homes here were built before 1908 however much of the building took place between then and 1980. $3.5 Million is being invested in the business and residential areas along with St. Mary’s School.
