King George
With the majority of the homes having been built prior to World War II, the community King George has 1868 residents and is among the oldest of communities in the city, however the area came into maturity during the 1960’s. This community is participating in many changes and upgrades including the River Landing Project to road, sidewalk and park upgrades. Convenience stores are located near Riversdale Pool which is close to this community and this area also has easy access to bike and walking trails along the South Saskatchewan River which is part of the Meewasin Valley Authority park upgrades.
