During the housing shortage after the second World War, the Holliston neighbourhood was developed. The Edmund Heights Limited Dividend Housing Project was constructed in the 1950’s to provide affordable housing for 40 years. There are 3365 residents in this neighbourhood. The 8th Street Arterial Commercial District and the Varsity Commons Shopping Centre provides amenities to the neighbourhood.
